1 - Price Group

Price Group

You can create price groups in this section. In an agreement clause, you can specify a line rule against a price group by linking a product/service to a price group. For example, you can create a blood test price group and put various tests into the price group. Then, you can create a line rule against the group accordingly.

2 - Facility Price Group

Facility Price Group

You can differentiate your prices in different facilities in different regions of the country. Because purchasing power of people could be diversifiying among various cities or regions.

You can create the groups in this section. So you can define the groups in agreement clauses accordingly.

3 - Physician Price Group

Physician Price Group

Physician price group is usually used for if there is a medical doctor that has a special or remarkable functionality (For example,a doctor might be a proffessor). A doctor might have a reputation on a medical field. That’s why, the price of a service provided by such a doctor could be different from other services’ prices.

So you can create a physician price group in this section. Then, you can use the price group by creating a line rule in an agreement clause.

4 - Insurance Class

Insurance Class

You can create a new insurance class in this section. Various insurance company might classify the insurance policies. In that case, you can create the classes according to the requirements of your insurance company in agreement.

5 - Price Custom Rules

Price Custom Rules

You can create price custom rule for the specific situations. For example, the MRI of the patient is taken and the insurance company pay its share for the service. The insurance company also might declare not to pay for the second MRI within 6 months. For such demands, you need to define price custom rules. To create a price custom rule, a piece of code has to be written in MedAX according to the requirement.

After creating your price custom rule, you can use the rule in a line rule in an agreement clause.
